Sane shows this as unsupported. I quick search on HP turns up nada http://www.sane-project.org/sane-mfgs.html#SCANNERS I think the ubuntu live/install CD has the HPLIP All in one drivers in it. Maybe you'll get lucky and they'll work for your scanner as well.
