Sorry to keep flooding the list, but I know of no better-informed group :)

I've been playing around with my new machine, a Lenovo ThinkCentre which has Intel i945G graphics card built in. The display is a ThinkVision 19" LCD.

The odd thing that's happening is that when I start xine the *first* time in a given X session, it works fine. All subsequent times, it starts with what looks like a 16-bit colormap (strange colors, jagged edges, etc.). I can reset only by killing X and restarting it, whereupon xine works fine for the first window.

Any advice? Thanks.
