Looks like this has been a re-occurring topic that has not seen a
complete solution. Let me lay out what I need and why and hopefully I
will get some feedback that helps me with my particular issue.

My wife's computer is being migrated from Windows to Ubuntu, and the
only application we lack is a replacement for Quicken, a problem is
created by our use of the Quicken Bill Pay service which interfaces
with the Quicken software.

I have explored the use of WINE to get Quicken to run, everything
appears to work except the online services (which is the one thing
that I _must_ have). I would prefer not to use a VM software just on
general principal of not continuing to use Windows.

That said I'm looking for a solution that will replace Quicken _and_
allow me to interface with an online billing service within the
application, or, a solution that will allow the installation of
Quicken on a Ubuntu machine and full use of all the online
functionality. The ultimate goal is to concoct a GPL solution; I would
rather not spend any money. However, at this point if someone can
guarantee support for Quicken, I would be willing to spend some moola!
