hello all,

i recently installed vmplayer and downloaded one of the images on their website, was fedora core6.

when i loaded it and went to update it, i got an error basicly saying my hd was full ' insufficient space in download directory //var/cache/yum/updates/packages to download'

i ran df and came up with
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]# df
Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/sda2 3275648 3145552 0 100% /
/dev/sda1 155543 10126 137387 7% /boot
tmpfs 127668 0 127668 0% /dev/shm

so, it looks like the hd is full

so, is there any way short of createing my own image, to up the space?
also, the files in the updates/packages directory deleteable (dont want to screw things up just yet)

another problem i have found while tyeping the email... the @ symbol on the keyboard apperas as " and the " symbol apears as @... my guess is that the person who made the image reversed the two symbols for kick's and giggles, second thoughts on the matter? (other alternative is that vmplaer itsself is reverseing them)

thanks for any help
Jason
