We are very happy with Nagios. But like Tanner said, Tarus is local! :)

It's been a little while since I used it. I'm at a company now that has their own solution but at another shop I not only had OpenNMS but I was paying for support of it. The support was superlative, probably the happiest I've ever been submitting an invoice to Accounts Payable for a support contract. I was running what was at the time an "oddball distro" (CentOS) and they adapted without flinching. Any growing pains we had were dealt with promptly and with great care. Would I buy an OpenNMS support contract again if I were in a position to? I would answer that with an enthusiastic "YES". Of course you can also run it for free and that works great, too. Having run OpenNMS and Nagios in different shops, Nagios made me miss OpenNMS. -- TriLUG mailing list : http://www.trilug.org/mailman/listinfo/trilug TriLUG Organizational FAQ : http://trilug.org/faq/ TriLUG Member Services FAQ : http://members.trilug.org/services_faq/
