I think you really want to use LRP (Linux Router Project) as a
connection from your local network to the internet. That's what it
was made for. Trinux was made for network and security diagnostics.

   Subject: PPP on Trinux

I've downloaded the Trinux distribution (BOOT, USR, XDATA1, XDATA2) and
   all seems well-working.
Now, I'd like to connect via modem to my ISP. I've downloaded modem.tgz
   and installed it with pkgload.
When I call pppd or ppp-on I get
bash: usr/sbin/pppd: no such file (or a message like this)
although pppd is present and has the right permissions.
Can you please explain me what is happening?
Must I install also ppp.o? (and if yes, how?)
   Thank you very much
   Lorenzo Busoni
