I running the .49 files.
Ok, I grabbed the packages/stable/latest files you mentioned, put them
on, restarted. This is what is on the screen above the DHCP question:

...cardmgr[120]: get dev info on socket 0 failed: try again
This tells me it is finding the card, but is missing some other pieces.
Looking real carefully, I am finding that while unpacking the
pcmbase.tgz, pcmod1.tgz and pcmod2.tgz files it runs out of space in the
/lib/modules filesystem. Where can I increase that?
