Hello Trinux users, I ran into a bug in the netconfig script provided with 0.51 and thought I would provide the fix. The bug only presents itself when you manually enter network info and do not use DHCP and your network is not a standard class A, B or C. In this case the entered broadcast and network addresses are never actually used. I realize that there are newer versions of trinux but I still use the earlier trinux and thought other users may be the same. Here is the diff of the original netconfig and a fixed version. Enjoy. 189a190,191 > else > BROAD=$tBROAD 197a200,201 > else > NET=$tNET Cheers, Tony -- -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Tony Irvine Project Officer (Web) Environmental Protection Agency E-Mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ www.trinux.org hosted by The Vnode Connector Services www.vnode.com *** Special Discounts For Trinux Users *** Email [EMAIL PROTECTED] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
