The stupid part of Windows 2000, as it has been described to me, is that w2k
will overwrite the MBR upon awaking from sleep mode. The simple solution (if
you really have to multi-boot w2k) is to make certain that powersaving sleep
modes are turned _off_ in w2k, so that it will not trash the MBR. This
should allow (many) boot managers to boot w2k without problems.
I have not tested this yet, but have heard from people multi-booting w2k
successfully, whether with SBM, lilo, or others.
