Since I don't have a braille display, I was unaware that braille support is broken in Trisquel 7. When building the Trisquel 8 live image, please start the brltty service, along with the screen reader, when the accessible session is activated.

Hi Dave,
The fix is trivial; one needs to install brltty package and run this
at least ones with its right parameters. However, trisquel is
impossible for a deaf-blind user to install independently since
Braille display is not coming up automatically & can't be activate at
the installation time, as far as I know this stuff.
I thought you'd like to know this.
