Thanks, David Hunt (Trisquel member Dave_Hunt) -------- Forwarded Message -------- Subject: Braille issue fixed Date: Fri, 6 May 2016 08:02:08 -0400 From: Paul Loba <[email protected]> To: dahunt <[email protected]> Hi Dave, The fix is trivial; one needs to install brltty package and run this at least ones with its right parameters. However, trisquel is impossible for a deaf-blind user to install independently since Braille display is not coming up automatically & can't be activate at the installation time, as far as I know this stuff. I thought you'd like to know this. Paul. _______________________________________________ Trisquel-devel mailing list [email protected] http://listas.trisquel.info/mailman/listinfo/trisquel-devel
Since I don't have a braille display, I was unaware that braille support
is broken in Trisquel 7. When building the Trisquel 8 live image,
please start the brltty service, along with the screen reader, when the
accessible session is activated.
