& thank you so much for answering ;-)
All three of us wished to be added to the translators list but may HKR &
Mimmo_D. DDN confirm this however
can you suppress
which has been replaced by 2 new manuals
can you suppress
which was a double creation but seeing it was a translated doc one
cannot suppress it
At the botom of the
many new manuals do not go in alphabetical order( we cannot understand
why and cannot move them either)
we have kept the alphabetical order which is useful for users search
More links to come .. ;-)
You mention :
we've started some work towards making collaborating with
the website easier among other improvements
We found that using Framavox & Framaboard or Etherpads from Riseup or
Framapad had certain constraints
(heavy scripts, relying on external infrastructures & servers.
So we got interested in other solutions
a Gobby server would be great ,nevertheless would it be used enought ?
Drupal Groups or Organic Groups
This module would be very interesting for people wishing to work on the
documentation, & translations. They could communicate between
themselves, work on documentation together. It would permit more
visibility and a platform for those wishing to contribute.
I have not tested this myself and was planning in trying a Drupal 7
install on localhost soon
to see further (but i'm no specialist either...)
Of course setting this up may need more resources and extra
adminstartive work , someone kindly pointed out to me
it has certain advantages : this make all events on same server,
greater protection, ease of use If you compare it With IRC or XMPP
you can open Discussion at any time And the user can reply at any time
,over time and many discussions ...
One of the main objectives is to have an area where people can discuss &
propose about contribution and not just ""coding"" or packages helpers.
The Forum is not suited for that.Basically one has to keep track of
events on a longer scale of time.
