Hello Luis,
Glad to be in touch

Freedif is a simple collective of few people loving opensource projects.
I used to maintain a blog with tutorials on opensource apps but I've stopped it several years ago, just focusing on the mirror infrastructure. We support various projects like LinuxMint, VLC, LibreOffice, Gimp, Tails, Kali, etc... and just do this ;)
Great that you have included Trisquel into the mix, plenty of free software projects require bandwidth to reach the final user, as it can deliver as many copies as requested.
You can see our stats for 2024 here: https://mirror.freedif.org/Stats/Combined.html
4-7TB upload per day basically.
Impressive. The latest apt package now include freedif repo on it so it can be selected from, thanks for you support.

We are living in Singapore and are mostly focusing on projects where we see a gap in infra for Asia.
Hope freedif.org have a long life.

If you do come to SG at some point, ping me ;)
Sure

Kari

    Hello guys,

I’m the admin of the mirror freedif.org <http://freedif.org> and
we would like to support Trisquel project.
I’ve synced and ready to support the project for both packages
    and ISO
    That's great news.

Will it be possible to be added to the pool of mirror please?

    Location: Singapore
    Bandwidth: 10GBPS

    (or HTTP)

Let me know if you need further information

Let me ask the same question I did on the forum here:

BTW, what is freedif.org? could you share a bit of background?

    Thanks in advance

    Merci
