I have a rockpro64 on which I have installed U-boot in the SPI flash using https://github.com/sigmaris/u-boot/wiki/Flashing-U-Boot-to-SPI.
I wrote https://devel.switnet.org/test-isos/trisquel-netinst_12.0_arm64.iso to a USB key and tried booting with it plugged into the rockpro64. On the serial console, I get to an installation menu where I can select the language and location (only English) available. However, then it fails to detect the ethernet card and I could not find a way to pass that. I tried connecting some thinkpenguin wifi adapter, or ethernet USB adapter (also from boot), but it did not work. I tried putting the same iso on a microSD card instead, the outcome is exactly the same. I tried the same with the mini.iso from https://builds.trisquel.org/debian-installer-images/debian-installer-images_20250803+12.0trisquel19_arm64.tar.gz (USB and microSD card), same situation. I also tried making a microSD card from the same archive, concatenating firmware and partition as in the README. On the serial console, it goes until "Starting kernel". At that point, nothing happens anymore. On the HDMI display, when "Starting kernel" appears, there are some vertical bars on the whole screen for a short while, then it goes off and nothing happens anymore. Is there any iso available for arm64 that could be installed even without network? Not sure it would work, but I have no other idea right now. -- David Lecompte <[email protected]> _______________________________________________ Trisquel-devel mailing list [email protected] https://listas.trisquel.info/mailman/listinfo/trisquel-devel
