[Trisquel-users] Gnome Desktop?

Hello! How do I go about installing the Gnome Desktop manager instead of KDE.  
I've installed, using synaptic, the basic Gnome and OpenBox package. When I  
log out then in with the GDM I get a pop up window saying the session lasted  
less than ten seconds, then reverts to the login screen. Thanks in  advance!
