Because I wanted to use a fully free distribution and come from an Ubuntu
background. gNewSense was sluggishly developed and unattractive and was going
to be Debian-based in the future. BLAG is collecting dust. Ututo and Venenux
lack an English-speaking community or documentation. Kongoni is
Slackware-based, which is a no-go in and of itself.
Trisquel, on the other hand, really did the trick. And when fully free
distributions become a major force in the GNU/Linux world, I have no doubt
that Trisquel will be largely responsible for it. I'm committed to using the
distribution, reporting bugs, making art, writing documentation, and being
involved in the community to make that happen.
