I use a Cowon D2 (its linux-based), but my previous experience was that  
Trisquel didn't do a great job on MTP support - I even posted on here about

Using sychronisation with something like Rhythmbox always seemed to be  
painfully slow, as I prefer just dragging and dropping folders.
