For Kdenlive: The two most likely reasons is either this is a bug with the  
more recent version of Kdenlive, or a bug with that comes from a kernel  
update to sound handling. You can easily find out which one by booting  
Trisquel 3.5 with 3.0's kernel.

Find out if 3.5's version of the Intel driver still supports your video card.  
Perhaps support has been dropped? This is just a guess, though, and the  
problem could come from anything.
