Using Trisquel 3.5 Awen. Update Manager shows constantly the busy cursor when
there are updates and never shows the changelog for any package. This seemed
strange.
Then I found this tidbit in ./xsession-errors

TypeError: not all arguments converted during string formatting
Sounds to me as if they're related. Maybe some python head could take a look
at it.
