One more comment on this issue: Gnash seems therefore to be able to play
flash at least up to version 9 -that is the highest version of videos I have
tested so far on youtube-. On the other hand, the error message shown on
youtube when you accept cookies seems to be the same which has been pointed
to by users of different operating systems -including windows-, browsers and
plugins (including Adobe flash, see e.g.
http://www.google.es/support/forum/p/youtube/thread?tid=5b4a34bf768fb506&hl=es-),
so, if it is not a question of flash version, what could actually be the
reason for Gnash not being able to play flash on youtube or on other sites
-Gnash does not work on some sites which seems to use flash 8, for example-?
Is it web page design or what? It would be important to determine the
technical reason since that would allow us to contact the administrators of
the web pages pointing out exactly what the problem is and asking them to
make the necessary modifications.
