Hi, I repeat here a couple of questions posted previously in the Spanish forum.

1) I updated Trisquel 3.5 64 bits to Taranis but it seems that the kernel I am running is a "generic" one, which from its description seems to be both for X86 and X86_64. These are the two packages I found related to the kernel:

- linux-headers-2.6.32-24
- linux-headers-2.6.32-24-generic

(the description says: "Linux kernel headers for version 2.6.32 on x86/x86_64").

I see there are other packages which apparently seem more appropriate for a 64 bits system (package and description):

- linux-headers-2.6.32-24-server (Linux kernel headers for version 2.6.32 on x86_64) - linux-headers-2.6.32-24-preempt (Linux kernel headers for version 2.6.32 on x86_64)

I am not clear if something went wrong with the update or if it is that I am actually using the correct kernel for Taranis 64 bits (I don't know which kernel I was running on 3.5).

2) Is there any log where I can check the messages sent by the system on shutting down. I have been checking different logs at /var/log/ but I can find any reference to actions specifically on shutting down.

Thanks a lot for your answers.
