Up to now, I've been using free systems(mainly BLAG and Trisquel) without
3D-support, because I value freedom over performance(I'm not a gamer, and
don't really NEED 3D).
But I was happy to read that Slaine would offer a free 3D-driver, and
installed it as soon as I got Slaine. It worked well, and I couldn't notice
any difference from the proprietary Nvidia driver I used when I had Ubuntu.
But now(possibly after an update?), somehow it seems that my system has
reverted to the driver without 3D-support. What has happened? And how do I
get 3D working again?
