It's even gettin worse when it comes to mini-pci. I was planning to
replace my mini-pci wifi card in my Lenovo notebook with a free card,
but Lenovo refuses cards that are not part of a BIOS blacklist.
I have now decided to by a new notebook which does not restrict me. I
chose Dell now (but I will still need to replace the mini-pci WLan card).
zareason is the only vendor I know which produces 100% free notebooks.
