Ok well for now check out  
(http://enigmail.mozdev.org/documentation/quickstart.php.html).  You will  
need thunderbird and enigmail both of which are in the repos.  Unfortunately  
I am having trouble getting in touch w/ the guy who can unlock that manual.   
He is awake while I'm at work and since we are in different time-zones I  
haven't been able to talk to him.  I'll try to get it unlocked as soon as I  
can.
