[Trisquel-users] New kernel on Trisquel Taranis (4.0)

I noticed that Taranis now contains a newer kernel - 2.6.38 (I believe it was  
2.6.38-10). I was wondering if installing this kernel will provide future  
updates and if it is supported on Taranis or just backported in case it is  
needed in order to support newer hardware.
