No, the blue light is not on but it is listed in 'lsusb'. I have not reset my  
router but wifi IS enabled on the router, as I write this post from a laptop  
with wifi. The problem is that the network applet WILL NOT let me enable  
wireless via clicking the option even though I have some libre hardware. The  
option, once again is grayed out.
