I just confirmed that the embedded WLAN is DISABLED in the BIOS along with  
"wake from lan" whatever that is...

I am suspicious though, because even with that option, the wifi led is still  
on although it is orange meaning not on...


I will post that diagnostic data Sirgrant requested later...
