I don't think reinstalling will fix the problem.  There are several
things you could try.

Try temporary moving your “/home/NAME/.mozilla” directory to some other
place.  In this directory are all your browser settings, history,
bookmarks, plugins, scripts and other stuff.  You may delete it if you
don't care about those.  If the directory was removed or moved, Abrowser
will create a new directory when you start it.

Try running abrowser from the terminal to see if it complains about
something. 

Try running “abrowser -safe-mode” from the terminal.
