For those who don't know about Linterna Magica, it's so great: have a look at
https://trisquel.info/en/wiki/play-videos-without-using-flash
While I wasn't able to watch a video with anonymox on, yet I was able to
download it using the the «save the video clip» on the left-hand upper
corner of Linterna Magica window (or box, or interface?).
The video is named videoplayback by default, without any extension and I was
able to open it using Totem. Impressive.
What's the format, though? WebM?
It seems I'll be able to uninstall the Downloadhelper add-on.
Congratulations on this fabulous script!
I wrote an article in French about it and I'll have to add a paragraph about
the download button.
==== Hurray
A little later: choosing the highest quality — 845x WebM-vorbis — and
then clicking on the "save" button opens an html5 page in Firefox and I can
see the video.
Magical, isn't it?
Right click on the video and you can download it, naming it as you like —
no extension required.
I'll wait till ivaylo makes fun of me being so dumb, and close the bug report
on https://savannah.nongnu.org/support/index.php?107861
Cheers
