When I insert a removable medium onto this Trisquel system, A nautilus
window, showing the files and directories, gets created, but I have to
give it focus with 'alt+tab'. Also, the volume gets mounted in the
'/media' directory. If I insert a removable medium without any
allocated partitions, or with volumes not recognized by my system, it is
only accessible with disk utility.

get any prompts or icons on the desktop or the side view. I can use
cds through VLC with "/dev/foobar". Anyone else experiencing this?
