Many thanks for your comments. Brasero used to be next to worthless but it  
has improved a lot.

I'll try your way akirashinigami.
In fact, my Triquel-mini CD was alright after all though the text install  
didn't work on that old celeron computer.

So I'm installing Trisquel-mini on a Duron on the Celeron hard disk which  
hopefully will work fine when I put it back on the celeron box.
