I have purchased a "GNU/Linux" laptop as well, but not from Think Penguin
(though I checked their models too). They do not officially endorse Trisquel,
but if asked, they will install any distro and run base tests to check
whether it works.
I purchased a very good 13" monitor laptop and had Trisquel installed.
Everything runs great and I am very happy with that.
I think that it's great that they are willing to spread the word about libre
software, but there are also other companies from which you could buy
laptops.
I don't want to start a flame or anything like that, that's why I am not
saying the name of the other company unless you ask me. It's just that there
is more than just one company that sells "GNU/Linux" laptops.
