As far as I understand (from Tribler's Wikipedia page), it is based on  
BitTorrent (unlike aMule), does not rely on any central point (unlike aMule  
and standard BitTorrent) and it downloads the file in order so that it is  
actually streamed (unlike all P2P file sharing system). It indeed looks very  
interesting.
