I'm not sure about the feasibility of reverse engineering an Intel wireless chipset although there was one wireless chipset that was reverse engineered many years ago. The catch is I think it was only the driver. There is now firmware which need reverse engineering. The amount of time it took to reverse engineer that chipset was years.

Even if you have $20,000 to donate to the cause I'm a bit sceptical that there is going to be a solution. We are working on solving one of these issues and I'm still waiting to hear back from those with the technical expertise and costs.
