Spring is available from a PPA: https://launchpad.net/~spring/+archive/ppa
If you're using Trisquel 5.0 then you'll want the one for Ubuntu 11.04.Please note that not everything offered from a Launchpad PPA is necessarily free, however, as far as I can tell this one is.
