After the earlier "RMS versus Bryan Lunduke" episode on the Linux Action Show, he is now (June) in the process of releasing all of his software as GPL. I will let those interested read the posts on his site, but basically he has now gone over to a donation/crowdfunding model. I realise there are some here who disagree with how the Debian Administrator's Handbook went about to achieve a free license and this is pretty much the same process: "If I get X amount by Y date, then I release it under a free license. Otherwise I refund you." Either way, I think it is good news and if he can keep this up then it might just pave the way for more such crowdfunded projects. -- Morne Alberts
