You probably are aware of it but let me mention anyway that vrms is a  
misnamed command. It considers Debian Free Software Guidelines and not the  
FSF/Stallman's definition of free software. As a consequence it reports the  
documentation distributed under the GNU FDL as non-free and probably does not  
report software under the Artistic 1.0 license (see this thread).
