Zorin OS on the other hand does have non-free software the company has developed in at least the non-basic editions. Nothing wrong with charging for the work although I think that project should liberate the non-free parts within their own control.
The Linux Mint project is one of the contributors to it. They have a full
time developer working on it. One of the things Clem (lead developer of Linux
Mint) has always been careful about is keeping it a community oriented
project. While it includes non-free software I'm under the impression that
there is no development of non-free software.
