Try updating to a newer version of Midori via their PPA. You will also need  
to add the WebKit PPA. These commands should suffice:

$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:midori
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:webkit-team
$ sudo aptitude update
$ sudo aptitude upgrade
