That's strange. I always end up with the Spain server which is the default. I never use networking when installing initially, unless I am using my network. I first change the repository to use the US server and I have another system with apt-cacher-ng configured. I manually edit /etc/apt/apt.conf before launching the graphical install. I haven't seen the installer choosing a better repository as you describe, not at install time. Which installer did you use when you saw this? F. -- Fabián Rodríguez http://fsf.magicfab.ca
