UVC is for web cams. There is a USB solution that may work with support for  
ATSC and DVB-T (the two standards in use today). I have to work on it a bit  
more although I believe it should generically work out of the box. There is  
still some basic info required to use it (software to install, etc). I  
believe this is the only device that will work in North America that is free  
software friendly. There may be a few different USB options for DVB-T  
(Europe) that are free software friendly.
