I often install new fonts, so is there any way to become root and stay that way forever?
Just installed Trisquel alongside Windows 7 fifteen minutes ago. As I
understand it, installing fonts on Linux systems in general is a simple
matter of copying them into /usr/share/fonts. I of course need root
privileges to do this. But when I use sudo su - to become root, that has no
effect on the desktop and I still cannot copy fonts.
