You are right that Jonathan isn't interested in locking anything down. The accessibility features, found in Sonar, are part of the standard GNOME feature set. In the typical out-of-the-box GNOME setup, they're not enabled by default. I find Sonar, in its current state, redundant, and do not use it; this is an esthetic consideration.
