I've considered the MPL 2.0 as well for future work. It is copyleft for the files themselves that are already under the MPL but at the same time allowing it to be used in other software regardless of the license. It is a modern and FSF approved license that can be used with GPL code if needed. It is actually GPL v2+ compatible which even Apache 2.0 isn't.

The MPL code, according to Magic "keeps dem users from getting subjikated like the Stall-Man says" so you should use the license.
