I am new to a lot of Trisquel stuff as of about 2 years ago. I never really
involved too much in the setup or distro of the software as it suits my needs
on a personal level. However, I am trying to move using Trisquel on a more
professional level for a start up company and there are some things to be
desired. I know a lot of effort is still being put into the system so I am
patient. I do not know what upstream is, or of the change from 'samba' to
'smbd' (which seems odd? what is the purpose of the name change?).
Anyway, thanks for the replies and help. Just struggling with getting the
distro to a point were I can have others on the team use it without too much
trouble. Thanks again.
