radeon will most likely not work under Trisquel. AFAIK it still relies on  
firmware files / blobs to provide 3D acceleration and even for pure 2D  
loading the driver will fail without blob.

Using fglrx / radeon with blob means installing a non-free Ubuntu-based  
kernel.
