Hi all,
I gave the latest Trisquel a try and installed it inside a Virtual Box
machine.
Everything went smooth so far. I updated Trisquel 6.0 during install. Since
Gnash under Youtube gave me a hard time before (freezing, dying with strange
error messages, slow / stuttering in fullscreen) I wanted to try out the
alternatives. I installed Unplug and visited a random video at Youtube.
Unplug shows me the different types of Video quality but when I try to
download it nothing happens. OK, not really "nothing" but after selecting the
folder to store the video, the download didn't appear on my download list.
Then I installed DownThemAll and FlashGot to see if this solves the issue but
this didn't help as well.
To my limited understanding there should be no external dependencies beside
this, right ?
ViewTube on the other hand worked perfectly for me.
Does Unplug work for you ?
