I agree with Heather. Eye candy is overrated, in my opinion.
I've also used fluxbox for many years.
I understand that it might not be the best 'default' WM, especially for
Windoze converts. I also understand that people who use Fluxbox for awhile
come to appreciate it's power and efficiency. It's rare to find a WM that's
equally efficient whether you prefer the mouse or the keyboard as your
primary way to interact. I also love the *box's way of configuring text files
and then copying them to multiple machines without having to re-configure.

That being said, as for the main topic I think Xfce would be a fine desktop
for the mini. I like it better than LXDE, even though it uses slightly more
RAM. I believe it still uses GTK2, so I don't think it's the best choice for
the main DE. We want to track with GTK development, right?
