[Trisquel-users] Thunderbird crashes when added to list of startup applications

I have Thunderbird installed and added to the list of startup applications so  
it runs automatically when I log in, but it crashes after a few seconds.   
This only happens when it gets launched automatically on login; if I run it  
manually, it's fine.
