I believe you can add startup programs in lxde by adding an entry in  
~/.config/autostart  (you may need to create the "autostart" folder).  
Right-click and create a new shortcut called [program name].desktop , and  
then just fill in its name and launch command and then save. Hope this makes  
sense.
