Sorry, I should have said. It's using the unity desktop. I used your guide as  
a starting point and have ended up with a kind of "trisquel-ised" ubuntu.  
Seems to run quite well so far, but I wasn't sure if the net installation  
provided the same core files as found on the main gnome edition, or whether I  
would need to add anything manually. Does that make sense?
